“Ma people must go free”… Harriet Tubman’s constant refrain. Her words reflect determination! With such determination anything is possible. She returned to the south at least 19 times, to lead hundreds of enslaved peoples to freedom in Canada, via what we now know as the Underground Railroad.

This piece captures a moment in history. A past that we must never forget and a path that we must continue to follow. In recent days among the African-American, the movement and the cry continue... "black lives matter!"
